A family-operated Kentucky farm.

JMJ Farms USA is our German-American, veteran-operated family farm and home. Our farm life includes horses and ponies, dogs, chickens and other birds, a pig, and the many animals entrusted to our care.

JMJ Farms USA provides pasture boarding and full-care boarding in a genuine family-farm environment.

Skálholt Icelandics

Skálholt Icelandics, operated by our son Kentigern, is the riding school and professional horse-training program located here on the farm.

The Icelandic horse is still relatively uncommon in the United States, making it especially interesting to find a place where you can meet these remarkable horses in person and learn more about the breed.

While Icelandic horses are a specialty, training is not limited to Icelandics. Skálholt Icelandics provides young-horse training, correctional training, advancement training, and competition training for both horse and rider.

Saint Martin’s Festival

Organized by JMJ Farms USA, Saint Martin’s Festival is a heartfelt day of Christian charity and fellowship. We open our farm and share what God has given us with our community through free hot food, drinks and family activities—including pony rides.

In the spirit of Saint Martin, we also support one or two charitable needs, sometimes helping a community elsewhere in the world. This year’s causes will be announced soon. Make a lantern to carry in the lantern and torch parade after sunset, then gather for the closing bonfire.
